  12. I own an A1000 with internal floppy and external A1010 floppy drives.
  13. When writing files to a disk in either of these drives, I occasionally
  14. get errors on tracks 40 and 79.  First the internal drive did this,
  15. and soon the external drive caught on.  I can find no pattern to the
  16. frequency of the errors, but they occur quite often.  I can diskdoctor
  17. the disk and copy (most of) the files off it, then reformat the disk
  18. and that makes the disk usable again, but it's quite annoying, and a lot
  19. of times data is lost (probably just because I don't know enough to
  20. completely reconstruct the disk).

  22. I would appreciate knowing if anyone else has this problem, and even
  23. better would be knowing what I can do about fixing it.  Thanks.
